Adult Orthodontics
The number of adult orthodontic patients has grown remarkably the past ten years. Approximately 25% of patients at Schwartz Orthodontics are adults. Braces are more comfortable and esthetic than ever before.
The Damon Brace System is a great choice for the adult patient. Due to the low friction between the Damon brace and wire, teeth can be moved with greater comfort, shorter treatment times and fewer office visits. Dr. Schwartz has been able to treat the majority of adult patients without the need for tooth extraction or surgery because the Damon System is so efficient at creating space in the dental arch. The Damon System is able to provide our adults with a more dynamic smile and youthful look.
Dr. Schwartz also offers adults and older teens the option of Invisalign and is a certified provider. The Invisalign System uses a series of invisible, removable aligners that no one can tell you are wearing. The aligners are made with a very sophisticated 3-D computer imaging technology and are worn all the time except eating, brushing and flossing.
